Default speed sound about right??

I am shooting a Bowtech Patriot 2002 model. Im drawing 70 pounds, my draw lenght is 28. I was shooting Carbon Express terminators that weighed 520gr, and now am shooting the maximas at 400gr. My terminators shoot 240fps and the maximas shoot 264. All i have on the string is a loop and a kisser. wondering if this sounds right to you guys. i was hoping it be a bit faster but thanks for your inputs.

I.B.O. speeds are measured using a bow set at 70lbs with a 30" drawlength, using a 350gr arrow, with no kisser or loop (also using a "mechanical archer" for consistency). 264fps doesn't sound out of the question with your set-up. Is the chronograph just a few inches in front of the bow? You should be shooting thru it at point-blank range. Myset-up shoots 271fps.

I'd say your real close. Your bow IBO'd 312 if I'm not mistaking. All thing considered your real close to where you should wind up with a 28" draw & 400 gr. arrow.
My 323 IBO'd bow will shoot a 405gr 272 w/ a 29" draw @ 65#.

fufanu,
I never weighed my arrows, but using the calculator on the Gold Tip website they should weigh 389gr.
