WOW AND HOLY CRAPARONI, my new Patriot DC is great. Very fast, absolutely no vibration or hand shock. 60#, 29" shot 310 with a 360 gr arrow, through a chrony. I had 3 robin hoods at 50 yds this evening, I'm gonna get cheaper arrows. Had ya goin', huh.

Phil.

Thanks jeffB and BTS, I hope to be able to get one in the off season if my wife wont mind as she knows its pretty useless because she knows I AM useless to get me to stop buying my toys LOL So this spring sounds like a good time for a new one. thanks again for the info. Now I will have to find a way to get a hold of one in my area. My local dealer doesn't carry a lot of them just a select few. Well I will have to find out later thanks guys.

I'm sold. Should I get out a buy one tomorrow or wait and get a 2003. BTW, what does a 2003 dual cam Patriot cost? How about 2003 MM?

If you're talking about a Patriot Dual Cam you'll have to wait until the first of the year to get one....

MSRP for the 2003 Dual Cam Patriot is $729.00 and $599.00 for the Mighty Mite...

What does the 2003 PATRIOT with the dual cam provide that the 2002 single cam doesn't? A little speed or is there more to it?

cbanman,

From a performance standpoint, yes it will be faster, by about 15-20 FPS. It will also do that with 1/2" more brace height and purportedly does that with no more recoil or vibration than the 2002 PAT.

In addition, the dual cam system will be more tune-able (it will have cable tuners built in, in addition to the fact that a dual cam bow is more tune-able to the individual in the first place), it is supposed to have a refined, lighter weight, better balanced riser, as well as a new grip.

I have not seen or shot one yet, but based on my experience with the 2002 Patriot and the 2002 BKII opII, I think I'm going to be real happy.
