You know you are just setting yourself up with that Ladyhawk comment there WWAG...

Are you going to go with the 30 or 40 lb peak draw weight version? Will it be strawberry pink or twilight purple?

Sorry, but you were just beggin' for it...

I have to agree with you about the lineups though. I plan on using the new Hoyt Razortec for hunting but I could definitely see myself shooting one of the new Bowtech models. One cannot ignore the speeds...not to mention the rest of the improvements that they have made.

BowTech-Shooter, none of my local Bowtech dealers know anything about these new bows....or they're just not letting on they do. Talked with two different dealers today, one I have delt with quite a bit(also a Mathews dealer) and he would tell me if he knew anything about them. He said he would call today and find out about the new bows, especially the Patriot DC. I hunt with 60 lbs. and would love to pick up some speed to gain a little KE. Bowtech Shooter, any idea of speed out of Pat DC 29" draw @ 60 lbs. and about a 370 grain arrow? I have been a loyal Mathews shooter and currently shoot an SQ2 but am seriously looking at the new Bowtechs. My only problem is that he(my local dealer) doesn't sell alot of Bowtechs, so I would have to order it and be satisfied with its shootability. How would it compare to my SQ2(hand shock & noise). Sorry bout all the questions, but that's alot of money to spend on a bow...Thanks in advance.

All the information I posted is still being communicated to all the Dealers. It takes a little time for the Sales Account Reps to get through all of them, but they will.

I don't have all the draw length specs yet so I'm giving you a rough guess on a 29" 60# Dual Cam Patriot with a 300 gr. arrow I would say it would shoot around 318-322 fps or so. With a 370 gr.arrow I would say around right around 298-302 fps or so.

I can't in any way shape or form compare this or any of our bows to any of the Mathews bow models. I don't know their line and my opinion will not be the same as everyone elses. I get asked that a lot and I can't answer it honestly. Best thing you could do is try them all out and judge for yourself...There's quite a few dealers in Ill. maybe when they start shipping them you can go try one out at another dealer. Here's a list of our Ill. dealers for now but I'm sure we'll be adding more at the AMO Show in Jan. Good Shooting and Be Safe...

Frank,

I figured logic would prevail one day and you would buy a Merlin.
