Default 'nother newbie question

May sound like a dumb question but I was taking my first archey practice at a range today and could not decide whether I was more accurate with my weight on my front foot or rear foot. Got my anchors down. Got my sights adjusted. Just looking for consistency. What works best for you?

I would say that when your indoors and practicing be well balanced.
When you want to practice some hunting situations use the kneeling,
on your knees, balanced, leaning, etc. Practice, practice, practice.
Good luck to ya.

That's what I was guessing. I have been thinking about it and balanced at the range is easy. Shooting down from a treestand or up a hill would probably require practicing both weight forward and weight to the rear.

Do most of you shoot a square or open stance? I want to get the basics down before I start trying different stances.
