Then dont shoot if you are not comfortable. 30 yrds is the farthest I will attempt to shoot a deer. However, all my shots this year have been less than 15 yrds. That is where the patience part comes in.

To answer your question, yes, you have enough bow to kill a deer at 50 yards. But everyone here is right. The question is, can you put the arrow in the lungs at 50 yards. I don't know of anyone that is comfortable shooting deer that far with a bow. My self imposed limit is 30 yards, and I stick with it religiously. I had a deer at 32 yards and didn't shoot.
