Do any of you carry a box with spare things for your bows, arrows, release, etc..... If you do, can you tell me what you have in it? I'm trying to oput together a box with extra stuff I might need and I'm wonderin if ive forgot anything.

I have a little "tackle box" that I take with me in the car when I am hunting.

Fletchings
Glue
A small jig
Inserts
nocks
Nocksets
peep tubing
string loop material
A small allen wrench set
Screwdrivers
Nockset pliers
A bow square
Small, portable press

...all I can think of for now.

Same here, I carry a little Plano tackle box that has the necessities. Allen wrenches, string loop material, spare kisser button, serving thread, portable bow press, nock pliers, pocket knife, string wax, broadhead wrench and broadhead sharpener. One thing I don't have that I really do need is a spare release.

That is the exact same box I use. For the price and with the design they are hard to beat.

I carry the following:

Vanes (6 different types/colors)
String Loops
Two types of fletching glue
Bohning Insert Glue
Field Tips
Broadheads
Two broadhead wrenches
String Leeches
Nocks
Nock tools
Broadhead sharpener
Allen wrenches
Target dots
Knife

Of course I do not carry the box to my stand while hunting. I bring several (six) arrows to my stand. If I adjust my bow or arrows, I have to shoot it to double check I am still accurate.

What I take, depends on where I'm hunting. In the woods near my home, I take nothing extra, except a spare release. When hunting on a mountain top in Colorado, 4 miles from the nearest road, I have an extra string/cable (set up and broke in to shoot perfect), portable bow press, serving material & backup bow (in truck).

I also have a tackle box with all kinds of archery junk in it, but 99% of that stuff is not something I ever need in the field. It stays at home.

Sure do. I have a tackle box that has a spare cam and idler wheel, bow press, release, fletch tite, vanes, strings, cables, quiver, broadheads, field points, tools, oil, wax, string leeches, knocks, brass knocks, inserts, bow square, loop material, serving,
Pretty much everything I have to work on a bow with. Now if you are asking if I take all that to the field, no, but I do keep it in my truck while im out hunting.

Since I shoot a recurve , which I check before every outing , I don't feel the need . There isn't much that can go wrong with them . Now that I can literally hunt in my own back yard it isn't necessary anyway .
