creep?
What is creep? I know what overdraw is, is creep the opposite? My guess is letting my release arm forward just a bit. What effect does creep have on a dual cam?

RE: creep?
I believe creep is slipping at full draw. Once you get the bow back and the letoff kicks in it is easy to hold. If you ease up too much you will begin to creep foreward. I do bnot know f it affects a bow, but if you have a high poundage, high let-off bow it will jerk your arm foreward. That hurts a little bit.

RE: creep?
The affect of creep on you can manifest itself is several ways but mostly it is going to be decreased accuracy. Depending on how big your bow's valley is the creep will or will not rip your arm foreward. I have 3 different bows, on two the valley is deep and the creeping just affects accuracy in a big way. On the third bow the valley is so short that if I creep I basically have to let down as the bow starts pulling forward, it can have the affect, or the feel at least, of riping your right arm out of its socket basically if you get real bad at it. Mostly it is an accuracy killer.

RE: creep?
I dont have to worry about the let off going away when I creep with my bow, unless I creep ALOT. I just pulled my bow back, and crept on purpose. I would have to creep literally 4 inches before my let off started going away. I guess thats what you get when you shoot an Oneida? [8D]. I anchor just below my ear with my knuckle, and I can feel the let off letting down out past my mouth.

Txrooke, you’re on the mark. When you are at full draw and are using your arms rather than back muscles or you start getting tired you start to collapse or creep. A remedy for this is set your bows draw length so you are right on the edge of the valley and power stroke at full draw. Any collapse and you will be in the power stroke and you will definitely know if your are settling or relaxing at full draw. This will prevent any form of creep or relaxing before the shot.

Get a Stealth DK... Creep is a different ball of wax on that bow compared to the BE. Still a big valley with huge let off but the draw cycle is more typical of a wheel bow instead of an oneida. Going from 90+% LO at full draw to let down is a rude awakening usually.

Im gonna wait and check out the AXE cam. I know I will either get a Stealth or an Monsterized AXEd camed bow sometime or another. I cant wait to see what Hippie and Bob got stuck up their sleeve with this one. Knowing them Im sure it will be AWESOME. Im sure its got the speed to out perform the Switchback with the smoothness of the BE. CANT WAIT! [:@] []
