Default Bowtech strings?

Is there any way a person can tell by looking at a new Bowtech which one has the newer 452 X strings on it? compared to the TS1 string they was using?

I have a Bowtech Extreme VFT which I bought last year and the string frayed pretty quickly. So I went to a Bowtech shop near Baton Rouge to replace it and when I picked it up, it had a green string on it - unlike the original bowstring. This string wasn't worth a crap imo - I think it was handmade.

What other strings would ya'll recommend besides Winners choice for this particular Bowtech model?

542X is one of the best if not the best strings made today. I was wanting to get the 452X on a new Old Glory. The dealer has had the bows I was going to look at about 6 weeks in stock. Bowtech started putting 452X on them sometime back, not sure when they started putting the 452X on them instead of the TS1.

Send "GIBBLET" a pm on this board. He makes quality custom strings and uses 452X. Lots of us have switched over to his strings and cables. Top notch and well priced, check him out. I just got a set for my Patriot.

the ts-1 is rougher looking. that's the only way i think i can describe it. the 452x is sleek looking and not quite as shiny as the 8125. i don't believe any of the bowtech binary cam bows have come with ts-1. besides the fact that its not available right now (military), i believe it stretches way too much for one of those bows. i know when i talked to todd and casey about the old glory string length change they checked to see if i was using 452x.
