Sweet setup! I noticed you used the Simms Teflon Cable Slide. Is there a reason you used this over the stock cable slide? I have both, but I don't see a reason to switch to the Simms slide.

zak, The simms cable slide seems to be a little smoother than the factory one and it won't make any noise if it is raining outside. The other reason is because it brings the cables in a little more than the factory slide which provides more clearance for fletchings. I don't think I would have had any problems with the factory slide, but I had the Simms already and decided to put it on.

Thanks so much Buck Magnet. It is hard for me to get fletching clearance on my Allegiance. I will switch as soon as I am back at home, in 2 months!
Oh well, I brought my bow, can go to Bass Pro whenever I want, and I just found out they are building 175,000 square foot Cabelas about two hours away in Louisana!

A little word of caution on the simms slide. It pulls the cables over farther than the stock slide does. This could add torque to the system that isn't usually there. I too was going to put one on, but contact Bowtech first. They recommended a Hicks slide over the sims for the fact alone.
Buck, just wondering why in the world you went the a trophy ridge over the Hogg? I remember you talking about putting a Spot Hogg on it a while ago. The TR isn't even in the same class as the Hoggs are.

muzzy,
I was gonna get the Hogg-It but after waiting for almost two weeks without even getting it charged to my credit card, I cancelled my order and just went and picked up this sight! I have a screen shoot on Wed. and needed a sight. I plan on getting the Hogg-It but for now, the TR is gonna have to work, and when I get my Hogg-It I am gonna put the TR on my Browning!
As far as the Simms cable slide goes, mine is about 4 years old and I am pretty sure the slots for the cables have worn out a little bit as there is only about 1/8" of differance between the length of it and the factory!
