It all depends on the mount or if you're going to make a rug out of it. You can case skin it, which is cutting up the back legs and actually tubing it out. But then your going to have cut the mannikin to get the legs in. Just make sure when cutting off the legs, that you cut them in a vee to allow for them to fit back on. Case skinning will give you the least amount of sewing. Then you can do a dorsal cut, by cutting down the back. Or you can do a ventral cut. This is cutting along the belly. You are just going to have to try what you like. Anyway you go just remember to keep your stitches tight and small, and align the skin back so at the end it won't start to bunch up on you. Taxidermy is great, but either way get use to sewing. Take your time, and make sure you align everything up.
