I have two deer racks that I would like to have mounted. Neither of them were caped out, so I was wondering if they could still be head mounted. And if so, is it more expensive to have them mounted w/out caping them out??

what do you mean by ; notcaped out? is is a head or just the horns cut off with the skin still on?

next , is how do you want them mounted?????on a plaque? ? or mounted with another cape put on it and have a head or shoulder mt, ????

Nick ; just take them to you local taxidermist and he will put them on another cape for you.if you take him a cape or another head,he should not charge you over a few $$$$$ more than regular price to do it.with out a cape he will have to pay someone for on or maybe he has friends that save them for him.just call him and ask which would be best for him.
talk to all your hunting buddies and have them save you a couple of capes.then you got it made.

Yup.. Just have the taxidermist get a cape for the estimated weight of the deer.
