Default Need Advice...

I'm getting a shoulder mount and just need some advice on poses.

what do you think would look good for this one...

It's your deer, it's up to you. I would suggest going to McKenzie Taxidermy website and looking around at what they offer, and make a decision after you see a few. Congrats, nice deer!

A "Head up" series would really look good, they go really well with wide racks.

Yeah that's what I wanted to know what poses looked good with wide racks

I love the look of any pose but just want that extra effect...

If you get it mounted in the ears-back position, it wil make the rack appear even wider.

As mentioned, look through a McKenzie catalog. Lots of poses.

I think a semi sneak, ears back would look nice with that buck.

The choice is ultimately yours!

I think a wall pedestal would look good. That is how I am mounting my dads buck this year and his is 21 inches inside spread. I think the extra shoulder length adds to the mount. Here is a couple examples.
