Hello Brett,
I think it looks great. Did you buy a video to go by? Did you do the cape yourself or send it in to be tanned?
I was always thinking of trying it myself. Mounted a pigeon in school a long time ago....turned out pretty good though. What do you think your total $ were in supplies and tools to do it yourself?

Brett, I think the mount is nice, a typical early season deer. I do recall you bringing this mount up on another thread. Did you mount it, or did your friend who is a good taxidermist do this? I recall you thanking him in that thread. Either way its very nice. I judge, teach and do taxidermy as well, so Ive seen some real buggers for first efforts (my first included). I hate to say, but Ive seen some terrible work being praised in these forums, hahaha, usually in posts complaining how some of us taxidermists are too slow. Then they show their "beautiful" mount done in just half the time! Its good to see a truly nice clean mount as opposed to some in the past.
