I agree I don't like how it is painted. If that was natual I would want it to be put on my head but not painted on. I like how the one ear is different than the other. Makes it look more life like.

I personally think the taxidermist can and probably will fix the coloration around the eye if you ask him, I also don't particularly like the way the ears turned out... I don't think he can change them now though...
BTW that is one heck of a nice 10 pointer!

Most of the deer around here (NC) have dark around the eyes. If I knew how to post pictures on here I'd show you one that I just mounted, and it is dark around the eyes. I won't comment on others work but the only person that has to be happy with it is the person paying for it. Maybe I should spend more time on the computer instead of mounting deer so I would know how to post my pictures on here.LOL
