Howdy fellas!! I' m new to the forum and was just wondering if anyone else has squirrel dogs. I have Treeing Feists I use. I have on older dog and a new pup I' m training right now. Anyone out there??????

to many leaves on the tree in Fla. fo a squirrel dog.
when we lived in north Ga. dad had one and my uncle had one,they worked together.

It was a blast to go with them and watch them tree.when I was a kid,we went every Sat. and evenings durning the late fall.

Please elaborate on the training method for your dogs. I' d love to have a good squirrel dog.

I too would love a good squirrel dog. How do you train them? What kinds of small dogs would be good? Beagles? Spaniels? Anything that runs? I' ve thought about this many times but have no clue how to go about training a squirrel dog. Can you hunt with just one? Thanks lamudslinger!

i use my rat terrier. awasome little dog kills anything that i sicker her on.

go deep hunt hard.
