Default newbie whistle training question

Has anyone trained their dog with a silent whistle and if so what is the distance at which the dog can hear the whistle and would you recommend using this type of whistle.

I have a Jack Russell and I'm in the basic stages of whistle training and she responds very well to the Cabela's European whistle. Any insider info would be very helpful. Also is this whistle good in noisy situations?

Thanks again

Lee

FL,

I recommend you stick with what works. I am not sure of the range of a "silent" whistle, it depends on the dog I think.

Good Luck With the Duck!
