Default Tick-borne diseases

My lab has been sick off and on all summer. The vet specialist thinks it might be Canine Ehrlichia or Anaplasmosis. Has anyone had a dog with one of the illnesses?

Sorry to hear that your dog is sick. Check out the link below and see if your dog's symptoms are listed...

Has your vet done any preliminary blood work? Tick's can cause a lot of problems, as can most any parasite. Hope all works out well and maybe it's something very treatable.

The test results came back negative. Now they are leaning towards Lupus (SLE). The test results for this should be back tomorrow.

I hope they find out what it is soon. She is one heck of a retriever and just hitting her prime at 3.5
