RE: Thumper is almost well, and ready to run
Grasshopper: I took him home, warm dry box, gave him an extra amount of pinicillin(shot and 1/2),I have some Vitiams for dogs,I gave him 3 raw eggs in warm milk and puppy chow dog food with a couple of these vitiams in it. kept him quite and very warm. I gave this three times a day, except the shot.that he got every 12 hrs. I also had some antibotics I had gotten for ear infection. he got one a day.
I did this for 3 days, then just the antibotics and eggs and milk twice a day.("my wife was the nurse, with the extra love"
after 3 days the swelling started down, and he got up and barked and wanted loving.after a week the swelling was almost gone.now it has been(tomorrow) two weeks. he is fine jumping and running around with the rest of the pack.
toworrow is the test,taking them out. got the next 9 days off.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
