Yea i deer hunt. Archery deer is my favorite season. I just get really fired up for turkeys cause its only a month long and during the best weather of the year. If i had to choose though, it would be archery deer season, hands down. Turkey season has been slow though. The place i normally hunt has a lot of people on it cause they're tearing out some old gas lines or what not, so the birds moved off the property. Havnt seen one since opening day. When i went to Woodward, we saw a bunch of birds and i missed one with the bow. O well, still two more weeks.

They have been kinda quiet for me also. Everyone is saying they are going to pick up once the hens go on the nest. I hunt Woodward and Ellis counties. Although I was in Tillman county yesterday and noticed they were real vocal.
