I currently live in South Carolina, but am originallly from Vermont.I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to have guns shipped from another state. I have three guns that I would like shipped to my current address.If anyone knows the current laws I would appreciate the info. Thanks

try going to a gun shop. they can ship from there to a shop near your current address. thats the way i shipped all my guns from maine to my home here in va and it was easy

thats the best way to do it.it is against the law to ship through the mail.UPS will not ship guns anymore.

You can ship your guns to a FFL: dealer via ups,but you will have to do a back ground when you pick them up. Check the law in the State you live in.

I dont know that there are any restrictions on shipping gun parts so you might look into taking the guns apart (just take the barrel off or something) mail them seperatly and you are no longer shipping a firearm but just parts. I would check into it more to make sure this would be alright.

While I believe it is legal to ship firearms from yourself to yourself at another address (since no transfer of ownership is involved), it might be safest to have them sent to an FFL near you.
