Here's my Lab, Champ.
"Bruce's Champagne Appetite" AKC/UKC
Almost 14 years old. He's had many a duck, goose, and dove in his mouth. Even a crow one time. He's been retired for 3 years. Noticed a large lump in his abdomen this evening while feeding him. Called the vet, he'll be here tomorrow morning to check him out and bring the neccessary drugs if needed. Champ's been too good a friend to let him suffer.

Thanks, just. Vet came by Friday afternoon. Said the lump was only a lipoma (?) fatty tumor. No problem. Champ's still around and will be going on a new medication Monday to ease his joint pain.

Here is a pick of my black female Lady. Her first hunt she retrieved 8 birds and was so small they wouldn't fit in her mouth she drug them back by the wing; she was 16 wks old at the time. She isn't a competion dog but one heck of a pleasure dog. This is my other hunting buddy in the pic with her.
