What good will it be in the future if we can hunt on Sundays but only a select few are allowed guns?
Thanks VAhuntr.....that's how I feel....I'm 57 and been hunting for over 40 years and I have a son who's 28....I took him hunting / in the woods when he was 4...we still hunt together every year and someday I hope to go with him and a future grandchild.....I'v seen lots of Presidents come and go but have never felt SCARED for the future of America....Obama is destroying everything that America stands for and if he get re-elected it may be over for this country......thats why we need to keep the house republican and WIN the senate.....And that means voting for Allen... That way if Obama should win congress can TIE HIS HANDS ....as I said before...I WANT SUNDAY HUNTING....and as hunters we need to UNITE and stand as one to get
it PASSED......just not at the loss of the rest of our FREEDOMS...

And there are many here who do not want to do what is necessary to make change. Yet they will let others lie to them, take them for granted and do whatever they need to and get elected then say sorry supporters you didn't really believe me did you. It was only a campaign statement.

Saying people do not care about the country is a total and complete insult to people you know not a lot about. But then is the fall back statement who have nowhere else to go. Sounds very liberal to me. When all else fails deceive, deflect and degrade. See anyone can make insulting statements.

It's only an insult if it's true......if you vote for Obama and / or vote for kane then you don't care about this country....and if you vote for either one that makes you a liberal.....once again...This is the most important election in your lifetime.....it's about way more then Sunday Hunting.....I hope you do the right thing ....for yourself....your family and your Country.....

I've never once said "vote for BO or Kaine". I've said don't support the party that isn't supporting hunters. Yes, hunting is that important to me. I've fought and my family has sacrificed for this country, I know first hand the value of what we have and what true evil and tyranny looks like. I'll do it again if I need to. What the Republicans did in the House AG subcomm. was wrong and I'm going to hold them accountable for that wrong.

You say it is not that important to you, I'm cool with that. Your choice obviously. Have you let them know how distraught you are over Republicans loosing faith in the party because of their lack of support for hunters? If not, you aren't involved in the process.

You shouldn't be trying to convince me I'm wrong. Let the Republicans know that their position on SH is damaging their reputation in the hunting community. We don't work for the politicians, they work for us.

Please email [email protected] and cc: Speaker Howell at [email protected] and unload both barrells on them, not me. Tell them that you are a diehard supporter and intend to vote Republican every single time a vote is cast but you are all spun up over what you are hearing in the hunting community about the perception that the Republican Party Leadership is actively restricting hunter access to the woods.

You sir are completely out of line. I spent 20 years defending this country and in my current job I have spent another 21 working with a public safety organization. So yes you insulted me and any others who do not want to conform to your way of thinking. What gives you the right to question whether or not I care about this country. what makes you the lead all say all person. I and many others will vote out own thoughts as that is one of the freedom we enjoy just as you have the freedom to say what you have said. I always do the right thing for my family and myself. It jut isn't what you want. So as a final word on this subject enjoy being a redneck and go force your attitude on someone else.

Does this sounds like a friend to the hunter or more like a card carrying HSUS member? He seriously brought up accidental arrowing...
"Bullets travel without regard to property lines—and so do shotgun pellets or slugs or even arrows from powerful-enough bows. And always, for an unsuspecting equestrian, there is the peril of encountering a hunter who misconstrues a horse—or a person—for a deer or any other game." Chairman of Natural Resources Subcommittee Delegate Lee Ware February 1, 2012 (Republican - Chesterfield, Fluvanna, Goochland, and Powhatan)

PS - A count of the commentors on his opinion piece regarding restricting hunter access to the woods
18 for Sunday Hunting
8 against Sunday Hunting

We can agree to disagree, but I might recommend you to a dictionary. Obama is not a Communist, he is not a Socialist, and voting for Obama is not a violation of treason.

The problem with the upcoming election on the national level is that both choices leave a hell of a lot to be desired. Romney hasnt had a real job in the past 12 years. Every company he has touched he has left bankrupt and in shambles and he is really out of touch with the working class American. He scares the crap out of me. Obama on the other hand has a country on the brink of bankruptcy with all we owe to China, is trying to force his health reform on the country, and is out of touch with private business. Pick your poison. Both options make it hard to have faith that my son and daughter will have a bright future here in this great country.

The real problem with our disfunctional country is Congress. The Republicans are sitting on their asses making sure that nothing gets accomplished until the election so Obama doesnt look good before election day. There is no budget and nothing is getting done at all. It is time for this country to have BOTH sides work together and try to promote America instead of trying to only promote THEIR party. It is disgusting. The only way we get out of this hole we have dug is to work together.

End of my national political soapbox.

The most important thing for us to do is write each and everyone of the Va. State representatives and senators on the sub committees and express the issues with the Sunday Hunting ban.

Eyedr....I don't need a dictionary to tell about the word communism or socialism when it comes to Obama......

His Mother was a Communist.....

His Grandparrents were Communist.....

His Mentor....Frank Marshall Davis was a Self Avowed Communist....

From Obamas book...Dreams From My Father he wrote....."I chose my friends carefully .....The more political active black students....The MARXIST Professors and structural feminist"......

Obama started his political career in the home of Bill Ayers...

Bill Ayers was the Co-Founder of Weather Underground...they claimed responsibility for a DOZEN BOMBINGS in the 60's....
One was the Pentagon ......
Ayres is a FELLON......

Obama was a member of the DSA....
Democrat SOCIALIST of America in 1996......

Obama trained ACORN employees.......
Obama represented ACORN in a Lawsuit.......

Obama told Joe The Plumber......"Spread The Wealth Around".....

Obamacare is SOCIALIZED Health Care......

I could go on and on....there is SO MUCH MORE .....
But I think i'v made my point.....

Obama is a Communist and a SOCIALIST.....

try this web site....I hope it works......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-HqH...feature=fvwrl

Now about Romney.....
He is a Self Made Millionaire....
He donated his ENTIRE INHERITANCE to Mormon Charities.....
At Bain Capital he saved MANY companies from going under.....Lots FAILED but many more were SUCCESSFUL.....

Obama was a Community Organizer......
And NOW as President there are 25,000.000 UNEMPLOYED that are COUNTED ......And a TOTAL of around 89,000,000 that DONT HAVE JOBS....The Government just dont count ALL these people because they STOPPED LOOKING for work.......

Obama had a House And Senate the were Democrat run for the first TWO years of his term....08 to 10.....so dont blame the Republicans for things not getting done....

Also Obama put HIS BUDGET up to be voted on and NOT ONE DEMOCRAT VOTED FOR IT.......
So dont BLAME the Republicams for sitting on their ASSES........
Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are blocking much of what comes from the House....They are both Democrats.....

And the way we get out of this hole were in is GETTING RID OF OBAMA and ELECTING ROMNEY and The Republicans KEEP the House and WIN back the SENATE......

Sorry for getting off topic guys....but I couldn't let this one slide....
