Anyone ever elk hunted west Colorado?
Looking for info or advice for elk hunting area 22 in Colorado. This is my first elk hunt. I believe it my be a lil different from hunting whitetails from my treestand here in KY.
We are going to hunting and camping on public land in the piceance creek area outside Meeker.

make you a deal, I' ll give you some valueable elk info, having out there twice
1 time for 1 month straight, scouting and living from mountain mountain,
and bow hunting for 2 weeks, did all this driveing and hunting all by myself,
which is somthing I do not recomend, I am a little crazy, I covered the hole western part of the state top to bottom, I can even give you an exact location,
on where you can stick a good bull, I will be bow hunting kentucky this year?
was planing on lewis co, but have you any hot tip' s?
