Default Sundays hunt

Sun.
Toby bailed on us and Jim was getting a slow start , so Tom and I went without them...the wind was whipping, so the odds of us seeing squirrels were slim to none, so i suggested going where I have shot some squirrels in the past and I know that there are hogs in the area, so off we went..We didn't see the first squirrel or hog, so we get to creek, cross it, i climbed the bank and once i got up there, there were 3 hogs rooting about60 yds. away, then they spooked, but it wasn't us, we were upwind and the wind was constant, so we stalked them for about 20 minutes...We're just taking baby steps toward them , all of a sudden right next to us was one, i told Tom to shoot it but he couldn't see it, so he told me to do it, so I did, all of a sudden this lil thing runs out in front of us and down the road, I'm like shoot it, shoot it, it turned and gave him a good shot....it ran towards the highway, but stopped about 20 yds. from it....there I am thinking cool he finished it off for me, oh no, mine was laying dead, dropped it, so we went to look for his and it was right there where it had turned into the ditch, it was great, so we met Jim on the way out, went to the truck and gutted them...I gutted them because I owed Tom for helping me when I doubled last week....by this time Toby showed up, so we all headed out for another....Jim popped the brother of the 2 that we had shot earlier..i..I drug it out to the pick up spot for him too, because I owed him as well...almost paid up, lol.l...just have to clean his house and then we'll be even, lol...it was a great day in the woods..Ended up going to Jim's to clean/skin them....Cat brought some beer over...Tom had never skinned a hog before , so I showed him on the first one and he did it by himself on the 2nd.....he's a natural It was cool being able to get someone started on something I know he'll be doing for years to come
Nothing better than hunting with my buds....I guess you can say Tom and I had a double and Jim joined in, lol...that sounds bad, lol....

i have the lil boar and the Tom has the lil sow

Tom's 2nd hog ever...I am so proud of him , that hunting bug is definitely biting him good...and he was quiet in the woods and he did an amazing stalk on them

Skinning 101

He had to twist the head off, little or not, lol.....

KISSES......had to include Jim in the pics seeing he got the brother of the other two...

here's some of the pics that I got from the guys today, lol....

They're so lucky to have me, lol...actually they're lucky I owed em, lol.....and they're lucky to have me
