I wouldn't get aggressive with any calls untill mid-late october. I've heard that doe bleats/can call can be effective this early for calling in does. Deer right now are just doing thier normal routine, so if you can get inbetween the food and bedding areasundetected you should have some success. If you can find a good rub line right now, you hit the jack pot.

I usually stay quiet this time of year. No noise out of me in the woods until later in October. I hunt close to stafford so im going to assume the deer are similar. when i used to call to early all it did was spook them. at the most i would use the can call and i would only use when you see them and you want to see if they will come a bit closer.

Bush....stay quiet mostly. I would not blind call with anything right now. If you see a doe in the distance that does not appear to be coming your way, you can try a small fawn bleat. If no response after a couple of attempts, try a doe bleat. If nothing, just let it be and set up where you saw them walking the next time you hunt.
