Anyone know any public land in those counties off the top of their head? If you are bowhunting all you need is your regular bow license and state big game? Is that correct? I see where it says if firearm hunting a special landowner permit is needed but I am assuming that does not apply to bow.

The special permit for guns is a requirement for Fairfax, since there is no rifle hunting allowed in that county. Bow hunt all you can, if you access to any land in Fairfax.
Mitch,
I personally don't have access to any land in any of the 3 counties, other then behind my house. But I do have a friend who does. If we are able to get out, I'll check to see if I can bring a friend. If you run across any land to lease, please keep me in mind. Always looking for more.

I had good luck on Saturday in Loudon County. Myself and my friend Chris were able to take down Does. Funny thing, the season ended and we shot these deer between 2-3pm. It's fun to still be hunting and filling a friends freezer.

I've got several spots in Clifton that I bowhunt and we own a farm in Prince William and have a couple farms we hunt in Loudon. Unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), rabbit hunting dominates this time of year
