Hey NOVA hunters.

Is there any public land around or is everyone hunting private property? I live in fairfax and have to drive an hour and half out to the shanendoah valley to hunt the natl. forest and some land my granny owns. Wish there was somewhere closer i could check out before work or even after.

oh yeah. and poachers are spineless @$$ holes. no reason to tresspass at all.

you can hunt at Ft Belvoir if you bow hunt, Quantico has opportunities and you have C.F. Phelps WMA on the Faquier/Culpepper line near Remington Va

I recently read also that public hunting grounds are not used because to many hunter assume that there is a million people out there in every tree.
I have had to kick people off of the property I manage and I have to thank the good lord above that I didn't just shoot them or something stupid, what realy burns me up is when tresspassers have the balls to get nasty with you after you have caught them poaching or tresspassing![:@]

Ya'll are nice, we have a couple friends who are cops and call them when we catch someone trespassing. No playing around here, all our property is posted so ALL can see!
