Default What effect does cold weather have on deer?

What effects will this weekends cold snap in central florida have on deer movement? Will the stay bedded down till mid day or does the cold keep them moving at night and early morning? I think I remember hearing it increases the rut but I'm new at this and can't remember if that is right.

Default RE: What effect does cold weather have on deer?

Most of the time cold weather makes deer move better. But it's been my experience that here in georgia, the cold makes them bed down, and it's later on in the afternoon before I see anything moving.
