just trying to find out if anybody hasany information on the E. Texas rut? I was out there two weeks ago and the bucks were already chasing but the does didn't seem to be too receptive.

Also, does anyone know where i might find rut schedule????

Go to the Tx parks and wildlife web site. They have a rut schedule for all the different parts of the state. I hunt on the Van Zandt, Kaufman Co. line and have seen no chasing. I think it was nocturnal here.
