I had heard that they werent having a quota for zone 1 this year but when I went to the AGFC website the information is unclear. I know that last year the quota was open most of the modern gun saeson. Sorry I couldn't help more. Good luck and Good hunting!

Thats kind of what i understood by reading the website. I shouldnt have to worry about the early bow hunt for a bear then the qouta wont be met til later. Thanks TJW Seems strange that I can drive south and hunt bears with a over the counter tag and here in good old Beer and Cheeseland we have to wait at least 5 years to draw a tag.

They don't have a quota this year. Just the one bear limit.

TJW where do you plan to hunt this year for your bear? I live in Harrison just down the road from Springdale. I hunt all over Hasty, Gene Rush, Buffalo River, and have taken some good bears out of all of them.
