Volunteers needed for youth event
To Whom It May Concern:
The U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Foundation will be holding Trailblazer Adventure Day events in the souththis year. Trailblazer is designed to introduce youth and their families to outdoor sports through various outdoor educational activities.
The following are the dates and locations for the events:

TX: Clements Scout Ranch, Athens, TX; 4/8/06 Lost Pines Scout Reservation, Bastrop, TX; 5/6/06 Camp Tonkawa, Abilene, TX; 9/23/06 Camp Don Harrington, Amarillo, TX
AL: 4/1/06 Camp Tukabutachee, Pratville, AL
MS: 4/1/06
GA: 8/26/06; 10/7/06 Burt Adams Scout Reservation, Covington, GA
SC: 5/6/06
NC: 9/16/06 Clear Creek Scout Camp, Midland, NC; 10/7/06 Camp Raven Knob, Raven Knob, NC
VA: 5/13/06
TN: 10/21/06
FL: 2/25/06 Win Dixie Scout Reservation, Paisley, FL; 4/8/06 Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation, Lake Wales, FL; 4/22/06; 4/29/06 Wallwood Scout Reservatoin, Quncy, Fl; 9/9/06 Camp Seminole, Davie, FL
AR:5/6/06; 10/7/06 Camp Pioneer, Mena, TX

Help is needed for the following activities:
Archery – traditional and modern, teaching basic safety and skills and run the range
Fishing - casting and baiting skills and fish I.D
Game calling - turkey, duck, deer, elk etc.
Hunting and retriever dogs - breeds, training techniques, skill levels and wet and dry land retrieval
Target shooting - black powder, shot gun, riffle, airgun, teaching basic safety and skills and run the range
Conservation education
The days will run from about 8am-4pm, with lunch being provided.

The Virginia event is with the Blue Ridge Mountains Council, BSA. It is being held at Camp Powhatan in Hiawassee, VA.
There will be 300-400 Cub Scout age kids and their families.

Yes I am a member with Quality Deer Management Assoc. Myself I have a Hunter Extravaganza show in Fayettville Ark. that weekend but we have a meeting on Feb. 20th with the QDMA and I'll see what I can do for you to help with volunteers in Duncan Okla. My e-mail address is [email protected]
