Not sure for Orange Co. LastSun. I did some low impact scouting in the rain and found the scrapes had JUST been re-opened. Bucks were chasing does the week before and the week of Thanksgiving.This is in Nash Co.

I hunt Franklin & Warren counties. The rut is over and I suspect it is over in Orange county also.
I usually check active scrapes. Once they become inactive the rut is on and last about two weeks. It usually happens the second and third week of November.
