17HMR will put a "Hurtin for Certain" on a coon. Drops them in a nice furry pile with very little fur damage. Lots less than the 22Mag, or 22LR. These buggers are really "Fur Friendly"! I've shot and dropped coyotes at 50 to 75 yards through the lungs with no run offs. Thesese 17HMR's are deadly.........
