i just started snaring fox this winter and i have been unsuccesful i need some pointers.

what you need to do is first find a well worked trail that the foxes travel to food or water then just put it up just make sure if you have a dog that they don't go that way because you might catch one of them instead

another great spot is along grown-up fencerows ..... but again ...make sure ya have permission (written if at all possible - sum states its the law) and make sure there are no pets roaming free .... settin on fences like that tend to do em in will end up findin em hangin by they necks over the fence

thanks for the help is there anything i can make something to set one in a swamp where there is no trees or fences toput em on

if there is snow find a well used trail ..... and use 9 ga wire for support wire

Get a snare shop catalog. Use wammys and wire. Also, get Fur-Fish-Game Magazine it's the best.
