Default snaring coyote

Need some advice ,do you wax or apply some thing on your cables to make them slick? Are you able to reuse a snare after catching a yote? How about the set ,8x10" loop and 6" off the ground sound right to you?

No, don't wax or treat them, just hang em. You won't be able to reuse, they are once and done. You'll have a hard time getting it off of the yotes neck. You have to cut them off.

I like mine to hang 10-12 inches off the ground. 6" sounds a little low to me.
