Default which is the best call????

me and my cousin (dearslayer357) have went yote hunting a few times but no luck yet i was wondering what is the best call we are using a fawn distress and no luck.

The rabbit, jack or cottontail, has called in more coyotes through the years than any other. And, don't be fooled into thinking that just because there are no jack rabbits with-in 1000 miles off your hunting area that it won't work, because it will.
We are also coming into the part of the year that howling will produce action well. Might try woodpecker distress also, it seems to produce well for a lot of callers.

i dont kno anything about coyote hunting but i would think they wouldnt come to a fawn distress until the spring when the fawns are born. just a guess though.

Coyote hunting involves a lot of searching, calling, and coming home empty handed. Practice and persistence make all the difference. Keep asking questions, trying new things, and keep hunting. You'll get one if you keep at it.
