Catnip and trapping bobcats?

Catnip and trapping bobcats?
I was just wondering if anyone has tried this. It seems logical because like house cats, bobcats can't resist birds and feathers,they just have to play with them. And the "litter box action" and scratch posts are the same so why wouldn't this be.
