I would like to see if i can find a load for a .270. I do my own reloading and would like to find a load that would not do too much damage to the pelt.

You might try a 100 or a 120 gr barnes solid bullet to cut down expansion .

if I remember right you can buy factory to 90 grains for the 270.....that oughta do well on yotes and fox!

Does anyone know where you can get 100gr. or less factory loads. I have a .270 also and would like a little lighter bullet. thanks.

I am pretty sure you can get 100 gr. core lokt bullets for you .270.

I would try barnes xlc's(They are blue) I dont remember what grains they come in but my dad shoots 130 grains in his 7-08 and they blow right through the coyoete leaving next to no damage in the pelt.
