There are a number of different species of Rattle Snake including the Diamond Back and Timber Rattler. Yellow and Pine Rattler are most likely local names for one or another species that have another more proper name.
For more information on Rattle Snakes, go to any search engine and type in Rattle Snake, you will have more information than you need.

The species that i am most familiar with is the Diamond Back Rattle Snake. I have a 5' 7" one that we killed down in south texas. I know that there are other kinds of rattlers but the most venomous and dangerous is probably the Diamond Back, it looks the coolest also(especially with its skin on the wall)

We have couple of speices out here. I am not sure if its consider a rattler but i have seen several cottonmouths out here. I know we have a dimonad bank or at least appears to be one. I even see a sidewinder out here a long time ago. it was unreal to see that out here but i have seen stranger things in CA lol
