do you plan on saving the pelt??? i like my 25-06 but break out my dad's 22-250 from time to time, both for AT&T shots

My Savage .204 sure does a number on them! Either guns you listed will get the job done as well!

If your hunting for fur I would go with the 270 but if your doing it just for the sport either is ok.

if its thick then go for the 12 ga. I've used both. either one will them just as dead as the other.
