Default Help a newbie

So I have killed a few coyotes out of a treestand while deer hunting, but have never "coyote" hunted before. My oldest boy is wanting to get into this and I think it would be a ton of fun. The problem is, I am appoarching this like I am deer hunting, or maybe that is not a problem at all. I keep thinking about how to get into an area with the wind in my favor and how to set with the wind in my favor. Sounds pretty simple, but I am having a hard time with it. The reason is because I keep thinking that the coyotes will want to come to the call from down wind and every time I look at my maps I see where they can get around us without us seeing them and bust us before we get a shot off. So I am going to ask the experts. I am attaching aerial maps of two places I can hunt. Most of our hunting will be done in the light, but we do want to do some night hunts as well (after we get our feet wet). So please, take a minute and look at the maps and tell me how/where you would setup. This time of year I will have either NW or a SW wind. Thanks in advance for helping a new guy out. Also, we will be hunting with a 30.06 and a 243, if that helps or even matters.
