congrats on your first yote

Congrats on your first coyote!!and sometimes those tails are hard to skin out I use two sticks or a regular pair of wire pliers,with the body tied down to the skinning table and the rest of the coyote skinned out I grab the tail on the flesh above the hide with it losely gripped and and grab the pliers with the tail in between my middle and ring fingers and pull hard,the tail bone and flesh will usually come out as the pliers slide down and pull the hide off with out splitting it,you can also use two sticks about the size of a cigar to do the same thing but I like pliers.If you do this soon after you kill them its easier,if you cant get the tail to strip like this you can always split it with a sharp knife on the bottom and skin it like that they look good like this for a rug or wall hang and tan better after being split but for sale or a mount I would try to strip it.Good Luck and many more to practice your skinning!!
