I want to start calling coyotes this winter but the only guns I have are a 30-06 or a .22 but the 30-06 doesnt have a scope on it so I'm leaning towards my .22 any apinions??

you can uses a .22 with precision shots there's been a topic before on it that was pretty much the outcome I would say scope up that 30-06 lol

Ya I tought about that but money is kind of an issue to right now so would you recomend taking the scope off my .22 for the 30-06 ?

Quite a change in power if you think the scope will hold up yeah go for it because you"ll have a much better chance of killing the coyote, Its all up to you but I just think a .22 would be a hassle

like he says, scope up the 30.06, the .22 will have to be real presision

use the 30-06,the 22 isn't a very effective coyote round!!

yep use 30-06 the .22 dont put them down fast enough and most of them get away
