Default Skinning with air??

I don't know why I am asking this now, but I was wondering if any of you ever skinned an animal with an air compressor? I vaguely remember this being done in europe when I was there about 15 years ago. They slaughtered a lamb for consumption that night, and to get all the skin off of it they cut a small incision on its undersides near the genitalia and inserted the end of the air nozzle. From what I remember the thing blew up like a balloon!! I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this for any game animals? Or am I just crazy??

I've heard of it being done before, maybe with snapping turtles, but have never seen it.

Ive seen a person skin a deer that way, but I personally wouldnt go through the hassle. I can do it just as quick and easy with a knife .
