snare question

Default snare question

well i was wondering if i was to snare rabbits what would be a good wire to use or is a store bought trap better. any help would be helpful thanks

20 gauage wire is good to use. Also theres a web site pro snare or somthing. Google rabbit snares and I'm sure you'll find everything you need Good Luck

thanks guys just looking for some light stuff to pack with me camping or while in the field for the army. nothing like a little rabbit for dinner instead of an MRE. thanks again for the info.

Get you some 35/1000 safety wire, that stuff works well and you don't have to brace it. As far as traps are concerned, rabbits can be a bit tricky to trap but a small folding cage trap might be your best bet if you want to go that route.
