snare question
 
well i was wondering if i was to snare rabbits what would be a good wire to use or is a store bought trap better. any help would be helpful thanks

20 gauage wire is good to use. Also theres a web site pro snare or somthing. Google rabbit snares and I'm sure you'll find everything you need ;)Good Luck

thanks guys just looking for some light stuff to pack with me camping or while in the field for the army. nothing like a little rabbit for dinner instead of an MRE. thanks again for the info.

Get you some 35/1000 safety wire, that stuff works well and you don't have to brace it. As far as traps are concerned, rabbits can be a bit tricky to trap but a small folding cage trap might be your best bet if you want to go that route.
