Default First Yote

Hey guys.

Well I shot a nice yote today, actually my first yote.

My uncle lives not far from here and see's a yote all the time cross into this field. So today we got in there real early and sat in a line fence.

My uncle facing west, I facing east. At 6:28 I see movement out about 60 yards and see two figures moving across the field. Iverifiedthey were yotes and started lip squeaking.

It was like someone put a string on them and pulled them my way.

Came to 5 yards (no joke) and I let one have it. He ran about 30 yards and fell over dead.

Never was able to get on the second one. They sure run fast.

12 gauge Full Choke 00BK really puts em' down. [8D]

Very happy with him. He weighed 35lbs.

He'll make a nice rug.

I have had so many close encounters with yotes over the years it was nice to finally get one.

This spaked my fire. Im hooked. What a rush.

(Rifle was for back up, shotgun on my back. Just so ya know.)

Way to go on your first 'yote. I remember my first yote, when you get to be my age (almost 25), coyote calling will have cost you TONS of money, but you will have many fond memories of dogs runnin to the call!
