Not sure... we have Great Pyrnees sheep dogs that we keep just to protect our sheep. We'vehad them for years and we don't lose many sheep compared to other farmers around our area. My wife said one of thedogsjust walked thru there earlier that morning and didn't sense anything (wind likely blowing in the wrong direction) Aftermy wifespotted it, it took almost an hour for my neighbors' Dad to get down there to shoot it.
She said it look totally content sleeping in those dry leaves...

If i was you i'd get the wife a .22 and give her some shooting lessons!
