Coyote found sleeping under kids trampline... 15' from back door!
I was sledding in Michigan Friday afternoon, got a call my my wife (rather excited) said a coyote was sleeping under our kids' trampoline. I called a neighbor and he stopped over to shoot it. It had a nice spot in a pile of leaves out of the snow. About every 30 mins. it would lift it's head, look around... if all was still, it went back to bed. We have a sheep farm here in N.W. Ohio and these things are really becoming troublesome. They keep us awake 3 - 4 nights a week. Saw a small pack (5-6) on New Years eve eating on a dead sheep I've been trying to keep as bait! With this thing that close to the house and totally unafraid, makes me a little nervous. Here is a pic she took from our rec. room window!
