it will be fine for shooting in the air the chance of it hurting soemoen or something is beyond rare
Ranks right up there with drinking a few beers at lunch and then going out for an afternoon hunt.

I hope you're joking. Anybody who has a few drinks and then goes into the field with a loaded weapon is an idiot.

Sorry... no flasks. I haven't had a drink in over 20 years. Don't even buy mouthwash with alcohol in it...

I've got a couple of uncles like that.

But in terms of this thread, somebody is pulling some chains here, or at least more so than usual.

They must be talking about those raging mutated 60# man eatting squirrels that were on X-Files.

[:'(]Dont shoot a .223 in the air at a squirrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:@]You miss you could kill someone a mile away.!.!.!.!!!! The best thing to do is to get either a .22 long rifle, perfered ruger 10/22, or a shotgun, perfered 410 with a full choke and 7 1/2 shot. Those make one heck of a squirrel gun.

It happens more than you know. Here's a link of one story, and there's more where that came from
